I am going to set up a padded sword area at interfuse, I will be bringing 6 spare swords for people to join in and play. I wanted to know if there are any other Amtgarders going, if so give me a shout and bring your gear.

Re: Amtgarders / Boffers
Fri, April 18, 2008 - 5:54 AMWe are the fantasy version of SCA and safer. Think live action D&D if that helps. As far as I have seen Amtgard has the highest standards for safety of any boffer groups, basically one of our weapons shouldn't leave a bruise even at full strength swing. The do make a nice pop noise when they hit though. -

Re: Amtgarders / Boffers
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 5:37 AMswords are easy, the pointy end goes away from you. OK in bofferes it's a little more tricky since we have no pointy ends but the end that doesn't have a handle goes away from you. -
