    I be in CoMO!!!!!!
Last couple times I been out, it's been pretty packed down town. The Lucinda Williams show was like all the grown-up came out of their hiding places since the college kids are gone.
    Whoo! Columbia is ours again!!!!

Okay, late notice, but in the interest of putting my money where my month is we're having a few friends over for some beers/ mojitos and some barbecue tonight. If you are interested, give me a call and I'll give you the location.

Anybody up for Saturday nights? There be some FINE music in this town. Name your genre, name your locale, we'll get somne CoMo burners there. The sassy sicilian might even show (She's in CoMo, too.) Just keep me away from frat boy central, and we be fine.

mojo's and the blue note usually have something of interest going on... if you can stomach the blue fugue, they have some nice music sometimes...

Kara, are you on Facebook? Maybe you could make a group and we could pass it around to all the CoMo burners we know...sort of collect them all in one place for planning things.

There's a few other burner folks that are on Tribe but don't frequent it much, but I'm sure they'd be down for some kind of Meet n Greet as well.
I can think of at least 10 off hand.

If timed right the Flat Branch patio is also a good place, minus music, plus good brews.

*FD* scores with the suggestion of Flat Branch. And there's always the Cherry Street Artisan, Lakota Coffee Co., and other downtown venues. Thanks for stimulating the brain, *FD*!

Hey, how about Cooper's Landing? Thai food, beer, and if we hit it on a Fri. or Sat. night they'll have music, too.

I can hear mama Chim shout it out now.......

          "*FD*! YOU ORDER READEEEEEEEEEEEY!

And Coop carries Thai beer, too.

We need to have the KC bunch drop in, too sometime soon.

            Yeah, I love Cooper's.

Kara, I'm not an extreme cyclist by any means, more of a bicycle commuter...but if you ever want to ride, Let me know. I've only done the trip to the Katy once, but enjoyed it. Rocheport or Cooper's would be a good day trip.

              "Yeah, I love Cooper's. "

So do I. I guess that makes us full-fledged wood hippies, doesn't it?

And Kara only smells like patchouli because of the soap she sells.

Actually I currently smell like black currant. I'm no hippy, I'm a business woman. I sell patchouli soap so long as there are hippys with money.

                That being said:
                yes I am on facebook!
I am not an extreme biker either. I just like the idea of doing stuff downtown because it is so close to home and poses little threat of having to drive after two or three beers.
I just got back from a festival in the Washington desert so I will be on line more than I was last week.

                Hrum . . . I think that covers everything I missed.
